The pool brings peace to me. I love hearing the water flow past me as I am swimming and feeling myself glide across the coolness. I’ve been going through some personal issues, but once I get to the pool I’m instantly better.
It makes such a huge difference in my mood compared to other exercises. I have noticed my sleep, focus, and energy levels are all improving. I trust my body more, and my confidence is returning.
I am excited to go to the pool, but I’m still not in good enough shape to swim every day. So I take 1-2 rest days to let my arms recover. I can’t wait until I build up momentum to swim daily, it brings immense relief. It’s helping so much with my mental health and recovery.
